Our Vision

Vision: The vision of faith for our extended family at Living Stream Christian Church in San Diego is to establish a glorious church. To achieve this, we have adopted four levers to carry out the Great Commission: Worship & Praise, Renewal by the Holy Spirit, Cell Church, and Global Impact.

A Glorious church is where people meet God. Regardless of the size of the congregation, as we gather at one place we can experience God’s work at this church. It is a place filled with God’s grace and truth, covered with the love of God, enriched like the Garden of Eden, and renewed by the Holy Spirit.

Worship & Praise brings people directly to see God face to face. It can break through one obstacle after another, lead us to the entrance to the most Holy place, and break loose spiritual bondage. It is a hot line between God and us , and we can pick up the phone any time. This is a secret weapon that makes a church capture victory.

Renewal by the Holy Spirit is the fountain of might from which we can regain our strength. The birth of church in the new Testament age was originated by the Holy Spirit that filled the church. Believers were urged by the Holy Spirit to take the Gospel from Jerusalem to all nations. Today the Holy Spirit is still our ready help and the source of the stream in the church.

Cell Church is a place where people meet with sincerity in cell group fellowship. In modern busy life this is a place people can unload burdens and take off their mask to be true self. And it is a place we can experience God’s love and feel the vibration of energy in the church.

Global Impact is the conduit in the Great Commission. The wide spread of the Gospel is not by economic might, cultural superiority, or even sympathy, but by the Holy Spirit that changes life. When life changes, only then the whole Earth can be renewed and reconciled with God.

We march forward on this path with full force to carry out our mission ─ the Great Commission ─ toward our vision.
